The Map Stand (vertical version) pairs perfectly with the 6" x 8" state, lake, and coastal area maps. The back of the stand is not visible with either horizontal or vertical maps. Created from two pieces of 3/8" hardwood plywood and measuring 6" high and 2.75" wide (each single piece at its widest part), the map stand is excellent for use on mantles, side tables, pianos, or anywhere else you want to show off your map.
The Mountain Stand (flat version) pairs perfectly with the 6" x 8" mountain and ski resort maps by raising the back side for an angular display that better reveals the entire surface. Created from two pieces of 3/8" hardwood plywood and measuring 7 5/8" long and 1.5" wide (each single piece at its widest part), the map stand is excellent for use on desks, counters, coffee tables, mantles, side tables, pianos, or anywhere else you want to show off your map.
Each set slides together with interlocking parts.

The wood is coated in a non-toxic dye stain that lets the wood grain show through and finished with a water-based finish.
