I ordered a small model of Copperopolis trail at Copper Mountain (including top of American Eagle lift, Solitude Station, and the Excelerator lift) for my son who competed on that run for 10 years in USASA Nationals. He eventually won a national championship on that run. He knows every bump and turn of that slope and was amazed that your model captured it all. He LUVS the gift. I found Treeline Terrains through Midd’s Alumni Small Business network and thought it looked like a fun and unique business. I wanted to create a piece of art for my mother of Lake Minnetonka, MN, where she has lived for the past 45 years. Jacob was a delight to work with from start to finish sending digital renderings of the concept, email updates during production, and notification of shipment. They were able to turn it around quickly and get it shipped to CA by Christmas! It looks amazing and I can’t wait for the smile on my mother’s face when she opens it.
Treeline Terrains donated a piece to a fundraiser, and not only was it so helpful, as people loved it, but they designed a custom piece to fit the place where our fundraiser was taking place! It was beautiful and so generous!
Very genial staff. They take their craft very seriously, so the product is top of the line. And custom pieces are their specialty, so hometown neighborhoods, favorite vacation spots, or any places of significance is right up their ally. Also, just looking at the maps doesn’t do them justice. Actually being able to feel the place and walk the trails with your fingers is a surreal experience that allows you to imagine you are back there again, walking around. There truly is not a company out there like Treeline Terrains.

I got my dad for Father’s Day a model of a mountain we used to ski at when I was younger and he loved it! Really was a special gift that he looks at every day.
My daughter loved her Lake Winnipesaukee! She was instantly pointing out all of the places she has hiked and identifying the bays she has explored. She can’t wait to get back to New Hampshire to share it with her friends. It was the perfect birthday gift!

I asked for a custom rendering of Lake Winnisquam, NH, for my Mom’s birthday. Not only did it come out great, but was done quickly and shipped right to my front door within days. They also gave me the option to engrave on the back to write Happy Birthday and whatever else I wanted. My wife and I received this for a Christmas gift this year from our daughters – what an amazing piece of work/art!!! We love it! As a cribbage playing family from way back who also go camping every year in the Little Lakes Valley / Rock Creek area of the Sierras in California, this was the PERFECT gift! As an added bonus, we’ve discovered that while playing cribbage and moving the pegs, we can visualize just where we are on the trails in the area. They created the most beautiful, personal wedding present for my sister and brother-in-law who got married on a mountain top. Now they have this piece of art that is equally gorgeous and meaningful. This backpacker/skier/map geek couldn’t be more pleased or more gobsmacked with the “Horseshoe Meadow to Whitney Portal Hike” landscape that Treeline Terrains created. I asked them if they could do this to commemorate the hike I did with my nephew, and they jumped at the opportunity. It is a simply stunning depiction of the highest of the High Sierra in glorious maple, cherry and walnut. It was a blast working with them, too!
I ordered a custom cribbage board from Treeline to gift my mom (a cribbage fiend!) for her birthday. I knew an approximate region (a ridge in the Pennsylvanian Appalachians special to my mom) that I wanted the pegging holes to wrap around. Nathaniel and Jacob helped me square off an exact area and provided me with a topographical render of the entire board (complete with sixty pegging holes) within a day. The board shipped promptly and my mom loved the piece! The board’s layers were made of three woods that really made the topography really pop (I especially loved the greenish poplar chosen for the top layer, as it evoked the lush foliage on the ridge) and it came with four metal pegs that fit the holes at a comfortable snugness. Cannot recommend getting a custom board from these guys enough!
Thanks for helping me with such a unique and special gift. I know that the model Treeline Terrains made for me will make my friends, who love of the mountains around their home, so happy.
I first saw this company on Facebook then saw their work displayed in a coffee shop in North Conway and thought it was the coolest idea. I reached out to them on FB msngr and they were very responsive and answered every question I had. Came up with some ideas (even a new one they have never done before). They sent me the blueprint and we tweaked a few things. When I received My order a few wks later I couldn’t have been more impressed with how it came out. Would highly recommend them to anyone. Ordered Attitash/Bear Peak Ski mtn as well as Part of the Saco River. Both came out amazing.
